Fees

Our fee guide gives general guidance and we will always give clear and costed treatment plans. Our Smileplan option helps you to budget for ongoing routine care with monthly payments.

• Cancellations & Broken Appointments
For larger treatments we may ask for a booking deposit. Our text and email reminder services are an additional courtesy but do not replace your responsibility to attend as agreed. We reserve the right to charge for failed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.

Smile Plan Monthly Membership

 
 

Smileplan is our affordable monthly payment plan for those who want the benefits of regular ongoing preventive care. It is designed to keep your payments low by only covering your routine exams, hygiene appointments and x rays but also includes some emergency care and trauma insurance.


We offer three membership plans:

✔ Basic - £26.27 per month

One full dental examination and discussion per year.
One hygienist appointment every 6 months including professional cleaning and advice on improving your dental health.

✔ Bronze - £32.90 per month

Two full examinations and discussions per year.
One hygienist appointment every 6 months including professional cleaning and advice on improving your dental health.

✔ Silver - £37.39 per month

One full examination and discussion every eight months.
One hygienist appointment every 4 months including professional cleaning and advice on improving your dental health.

 
 

What is included in Smile Plan:

A more detailed examination every two to three years which includes a full x-ray survey to diagnose problems early and discuss if your needs are being met.

• Your preventative dental care is included.
• Costs of X rays when required is included.
• Family discounts 5% for two people, 10% for three people and 15% for four or more people.

• Membership card with 24 hour helpline numbers for dental emergencies at home or abroad worldwide.
• Payment by convenient monthly Direct Debit.
• Early identification of dental problems to prevent pain, discomfort and inconvenience.
• Appointment times to suit you wherever possible.
• Priority booking in the event of a dental emergency.
• Access to 24 hour dental emergency helpline 365 days per year.
• Worldwide Supplementary Dental Injury and Emergency.

There are three levels to choose from and we will discuss and advise which best suits your needs. The plans do not cover treatments such as fillings and crowns and these would always be discussed and quoted for as needed. This allows you to have an affordable plan to ensure the best basic health and you are only paying for what you actually have.

To join Smile Plan, all you have to do is complete a registration form for us and a Direct Debit mandate and authorisation form. In addition to your first monthly payment, a one-off registration fee of £10.00 per person will be payable by you to DPAS and will be included in your first Direct Debit payment.

You can leave Smile Plan at any time by giving one month’s written notice to JM Dental Plymouth.
