Jill Hetherington CEB Dip Dent Hygiene | GDC: 5693
Jill qualified as a Hygienist in the Royal Air Force in 2000. Over the years Jill has attended several ‘Masterclasses’ to ensure she provides the most up-to-date treatment for her patients including treating advanced gum disease and tooth whitening. She recognises the anxiety that some people feel in the dental setting and has had enormous success helping even the most nervous dental patients overcome their negative feelings toward dental visits. In her spare time she volunteers for her local cats and dogs shelter and has 3 cats of her own. Jill also enjoys the gym and socialising.

Dr. Jonathan Lane grew up in the Southwest of England before studying Biomedical Sciences at Plymouth University. After attaining his BSc (with Honours) he moved to Scotland earning a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with an associated commendation from the University of Aberdeen.
Since graduating Jonathan has spent a lot of time in private practice, achieving a Masters in Restorative Dentistry with a Distinction in 2022 from The University of Edinburgh, and publishing his research in multiple peer reviewed dental journals. Since then, he has spent time teaching the final year students within Peninsula Dental School in Plymouth and contributing to the Dental Masters’ programme in Edinburgh.
After his Masters Jonathan has received five years of one-on-one tuition with a Restorative Specialist. During this time he has developed a special interest in Prosthodontics and offers a wide range of treatment including (but not limited to), composite restorations & bonding, crowns, full mouth rehabilitation, dentures and dental implants. He has a focus on providing ethical and predictable treatment ensuring that all treatment is based on the latest clinical evidence and performed to the highest standards. Jon spends most of his spare time outside with his wife, 2 year old son and cocker spaniel. He also enjoys both photography and cooking when he gets a chance!
Vicky
Vicky will probably be answering the phone and meeting and greeting you!
She always welcomes patients with a smile, and helps organise the clinical facilities, as she is also a qualified Dental Nurse. She has worked with John closely for many years and her experience is vital to the smooth running of the practice.
